This international research workshop seeks to advance the interdisciplinary field of human rights scholarship by examining and taking stock of the rapid developments in the global governance of business and human rights during the past decade. It brings together leading experts from political science, law, business ethics and accounting studies, to critically reflect on the foundations of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, to assess the legal and political challenges of human rights and business regulation (including NAPs and NHRIs), and to scrutinise the proposals for a future binding treaty on business and human rights which has been in the making since 2015.
If you would like to attend the workshop, please register in advance by 10 February via email, as places are very limited.
